GUIDED FLY FISHING - INSTRUCTIONS & TUITION - DRIFT FISHING - JET BOAT FISHING
Guided Fly Fishing
Flowing from the North – Western flanks of Mounts Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro, local rivers and streams provide a wide range of pristine water to explore. These three active volcanoes dominate the Central North Island landscape and add greatly to the conditions prevailing in this wild fishery. From challenging headwaters Fly fishing for Trophy Brown and Rainbow Trout, for the less able, smaller pebble based streams that provide excellent opportunities for sight fishing. A Drift Fishing option is also available, as is a Jet Boat option both adding a unique dimension to the local experience. We are able to cater to a wide range of skills and ability.
This area hosted the 2008 World Fly Fishing Championships plus numerous other International and Domestic Competitions including the Commonwealth Championships, Oceania Championships and regularly hosts the New Zealand Championships. Specializing in single and multi day trips with expert tuition. Along with our other fantastic knowledge filled guides we also have Peter Scott who has extensive International and Domestic experience and currently Parton of the SFFANZ.
