This experience opens up a huge amount of water accessible below Taumarunui. Cover in excess of 50 Kilometers in this return trip stopping off at the World Famous in New Zealand “Lavender Farm” for lunch. Perfect trip for those with non fishing companions.

ANGLERS COTTAGE – Comfortable Country Cottage nestled on the banks of the Whanganui River, available at $250 for single/double occupancy per night with $50 per night for each extra guest. Sleeps 8 comprising 3 bedrooms with 2 Queen Beds and 4 bunks. Step out the back door and into the Whanganui River which was fished as “Beat 1” of the 2008 “World Flyfishing Championships”
AWARUA LODGE – Very attractive studio style accommodation on the banks of the Whanganui River. Spectacular river views and evening rise out front. Self contained sleeping 4 comprising 2 bedrooms with 2 Queen beds. Available at $350 for Single/Double occupancy with $100 per night for each extra guest.
